Christian City Church Greensboro started in 1999 when Pastors Whit and Ressie Toland came here from their home church in Asheville. Pastor Whit served on staff at The Rock of Asheville for 8 years before being sent out to plant a church here.

Christian City Church Greensboro is a part of a larger association of churches called Christian City Church International based in Sydney, Australia. Christian City Church is a growing movement of churches that is directed by Dr. Phil Pringle. Our philosophy of reaching today’s generation is to plant strong local churches that are fun, powerful, and relevant. Currently, there are over 120 Christian City Churches throughout the world, with a goal of 500 churches by the year 2020.
